The Iceherbs company was founded in Blönduós in 1993, with contribution of local farm communities in North Iceland and public and private enterprices. All our products are made only from Iceland Moss lichen (Cetraria islandica), grown and collected in the mountains and wilderness of Iceland.
 
Both tradition and modern research on Iceland Moss show that the water souluble fiber lichenan and the bitter-tasting lichen acids are active compounds that soften the mucous membrane of the throat and chest as well as the membranes of the stomach and the digestive tract.
 
Iceherbs products are soothing on sore throat, improve digestion, physical strength, mental and physical well being.
